A few words about the winery:
In 1920, Joseph Masachs Llorach was one of the first in the region who produced bubbly wines. He started his journey with the production of wine for family members and friends. After a long period of achievements, the production became a family business which is imported internationally. The winery is located in the Penedes Region - the most important area of agriculture in Catalonia, where the weather conditions are characteristic to the Mediterranean. It is hot during the months of the summer, and there is a lot of exposure to sun light, which promises the optimal growth of grapes. The average annual rains are 525 mm., which results in a real paradise for growing grapes.
About the wine:
A bubbly, light and tasty wine which comes to us from Catalonia, Spain. It consists of a high-quality blend of Spanish grape varieties – Macabeo, Xarel Lo and Parellada. The wine undergoes a double fermentation process, and it is aging in steel-made containers during a period that is longer than 12 months. The wine has a wide range of flavors and a perfect balance between the fragrances of pears and apples and those of citrus and pineapple. An ideal drink which can accompany every meal.
