Odem Mountain – 1060
A few words about the winery:
The Odem Mountain Winery was established in 2003, when Michael, the father of the family, saw in his vision the entire family convening and jointly establishing the life work of a family. Familiar international grape varieties are planted in the vineyards of the Odem Mountain Winery. However, the way they are taken care of and cultivated causes them to reach an especially surprising and high quality result. The personal and direct familiarity of Adam Alfasi, the winery’s vintner, with each and every area in the vineyard allows him to conduct a strict and a directed cultivation of the crops, so that each grapevine receives the optimal conditions to become the ultimate wine.
About the wine:
The vineyard that grows the grapevines for this unique wine was planted adjacent to the winery, and it produces small and quality crops, according to which it was determined, following the vintner’s instructions, how many bottles, if any, will be produced from the wonder and in which specific years. The wine has an almost opaque burgundy red color. It has a powerful and rich taste of black berries, a ripe plum, a touch of mint and Mediterranean seasoning. The wine has a full and round body and soft astringency which accompanies a long and rich finish. The wine has been aging for 28 months in barrels of French Oak Tree.
