Yatir – Darom Rosé
A few words about the winery:
A small and quality winery which is located at the foot of the Tel Arad Fortress in Judea. The winery was established in 2000 as a joint venture of the Region’s vine-growers and the Vine-growers Association who discovered the extraordinary potential that lies in the Yatir Region. With its wines, the winery’s main purpose is to emphasize the uniqueness of the Region – the very ‘Yatiric’ nature that makes the winery’s people so proud and arises from vineyards planted at extreme heights under optimal weather conditions, creating a very special area for cultivating crops. Over the years, the southern winery that is located in the heart of the desert has become the symbol of the Region, after its wines gain praises and win medals every year, and were in recent years crowned as the best wines in Israel.
About the wine:
Yatir Rosé is based on grape varieties which fit the style of Grenache Noir and Tempranillo and are especially cultivated therefor. It is a dry and crispy Rosé Wine with low alcohol content, a gentle rosy color, refreshing taste and fragrance, fruity and scented. It is a quality, well-made and thirst-quenching wine, which people should drink by itself while being still young or as a companion for dishes from the Mediterranean kitchen.
