Kishor Tefen Fortress
A few words about the winery:
In the summer of 2007, while deciding to establish a new productive branch of employment in the Village of Kishorit which is a home for 175 adults who have special needs, the first vineyards of the Kishor Winery were planted. The vineyard was established in 2010 in an ideal location in an area that is surrounded by a small natural forest, rocky soil and the landscapes of the Western Galilee. The large differences of temperatures between the day and the night produce a perfect environment for the grapes’ long and slow ripening process which give the wines of the winery their special characteristics. The vineyard and the winery are two out of a number of branches of employment of the members of the village who work in the vineyard and produce the wine.
About the wine:
A complex and abundant red blend, full of presence and depth combining the fragrance of a young and emphasized fruit alongside greenish and pleasant Mediterranean seasoning. Pleasant sourness and a long and fruit-abundant finish.
