Carmel Mediterranean
A few words about the winery:
The story of the Carmel wineries is a story about the history of the Israeli settlement, a story of the vision and its fulfillment, and materializing today concepts that did not exist in the 19th Century. The Carmel wineries have a variety of vineyards and grape varieties all over Israel, which makes it possible to choose grapes from any corner in Israel – from the Upper Galilee and the Golan Heights via Samaria and the Judean Foothills to the Mountains of Jerusalem and the Negev, while aspiring for excellence and for uncompromising quality. Most of the new vineyards were planted in the Upper Galilee Area, which is the home for most of the best quality wines of the winery.
About the wine:
A wine with a deep purple color which is characterized by an aroma of a black plum, raspberry and ripe cherries. It has a full and rich body. The finish is long and balanced. One may enjoy the wine today, but it will continue developing in the bottle in the coming years.
